2.6.11

Home.

When you return from a brief sojourn – or come to think of it, when you are still planning to go on a brief sojourn – you become wary of coming back to the task of being doubly productive: you need to mind the work you left behind and you add an extra focus on the work at hand. In the end, the small amount of rest you managed to gain get spent returning to normal. So, why take a break?

Am I making sense?

REFLECTIONS
Numbers 4-6

The Census Continues:
Tent of Meeting Servers
Kohathites = 2,750
Gershonites = 2,630
Merarites = 3,200
Total = 8,580

The Law of Jealousy
Numbers 5:11-22
The law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and defiles herself while married to her husband, or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife.

Is there a counterpart for when the man goes astray?

The Aaronic Blessing
Numbers 6:24-26
“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
